Horse Paradise – Summer on Our Spacious Coastal Pastures
Our dune pastures are located directly behind the beach, surrounded by beautiful sand dunes, and provide Icelandic horses with a natural summer home from May to December. The fresh sea air and unique coastal climate make them an ideal place to stay, especially for horses suffering from sweet itch or respiratory conditions.
We offer three spacious pastures ranging from approximately 40 to 70 hectares, stretching from Henne Strand to Gammelgab. The horses live in well-balanced herds, either in mixed groups of mares and geldings or in an all-gelding herd. Each pasture has several natural ponds providing fresh drinking water, as well as plenty of grazing.
The well-being of every horse is our highest priority. For this reason, we check all herds daily. However, due to the size and location of the pastures, additional feeding or individual special care is not possible.
Stays are available by prior arrangement between May and December. The minimum stay is two months, allowing the horses enough time to settle in and fully enjoy their time on the pastures.
Admission Requirements
* Icelandic horses only
* Not suitable for horses with laminitis, foals, or stallions
* Horses must be reliably respectful of electric fencing
Price: €100 / DKK 750 per horse, per month.
